ETIC/RSET/SPSD Joint Symposium 2016, Kanazawa

Spatial Planning for Disaster Prevention and Sustainable Development, December 5-7, 2016, Kanazawa University, Japan

 

 

It is our great pleasure to invite professors from Wuhan university and other universities and institutes to participate the Joint Workshop on Spatial Planning for Disaster Prevention and Sustainable Development, which is planned to be held in Kanazawa University,  Japan from December 5 to 7, 2016 including site visits. The workshop is aiming at the following main issues:

 

 Spatial planning for disaster prevention and sustainable development

 Rapid data acquisition and processing for disaster prevention and sustainable development

 Risk assessment disaster prevention planning

 Planning support systems for disaster prevention and sustainable development

 

To help build capacity for disaster prevention and sustainable development in local-level, planners and designers play essential role in understanding and preparing for proper planning and measures against the possible disasters. The event will help scholars and researchers from China and Japan to share their experiences in  relevant fields and help to develop some common research areas for future cooperation.

 

 We look forward to seeing you in Kanazawa.
