Environment and Energy Technology for Carbon Neutral Era are common challenges in China and Japan. Tsinghua University and Kanazawa University are research institutes that drive regional development and innovation in Asian area, and have made outstanding achievements, especially in the fields of environmental technology and policy planning. The two university will work together to develop human resources who will be responsible for sustainable development in Asia.

　　Tsinghua- Kanazawa Double Degree Program for Master student started from Oct. 2022 after the two universities establlshed academic exchange and cooperation relationship in education and research based on the EMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING between the two universities in 2022. 

   After declaring an agreement on the Double-Degree Master’s Program in Resources and Environment between Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University and Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University,  the first batch of DDP students from Tsinghua University will enroll Kanazawa university this October. We orgnaize Symposium of Environment and Energy Technology for Carbon Neutral Era on Feb 20-21 in order to provide teaching and research information for them and the potential applicants in the coming year. 

   Another porgram is a joint PhD course with the Cross-strait Tsinghua Research Institute, the Graduate School of Science and Technology of Kanazawa University, accepts doctoral students and provide joint guidance to develop human resources who will be responsible for sustainable development in Asia. This program drives regional development and innovation in Asian area, especially in the fields of urban planning and environmental planning.
